Hansen & Rosasco LlpHauppauge, NY
$50,000 - $55,000Onsite

About The Position

Hansen & Rosasco, LLP is seeking an exceptional Client Intake Specialist to join our team helping individuals and families affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks. Many of the people who contact our firm were exposed to toxins after 9/11 and have since developed cancer or other serious illnesses. They are often trying to understand whether they may qualify for compensation through the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) and whether they should hire an attorney to help them. You will often be the first person from our firm they speak with. We are looking for someone who can combine compassion, intelligence, excellent telephone communication skills, and the ability to confidently convert qualified prospective clients into clients of our firm. This is not a receptionist position, and it is not a high-pressure call-center sales job. It is a relationship-based intake and consultative sales position in which earning a prospective client's trust is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Speak by telephone with prospective clients who have contacted our firm about potential 9/11 claims.
  • Conduct thoughtful intake conversations, typically lasting 15–20 minutes.

  • Ask questions to help determine whether a prospective client may qualify for the VCF.
  • Explain the VCF process and our firm's services clearly and confidently.
  • Build rapport and establish trust quickly.
  • Explain why retaining an experienced law firm may benefit the prospective client.
  • Ask qualified prospective clients to retain our firm.
  • Professionally handle questions and objections such as "Why do I need an attorney?", "I want to think about it," or "I'm speaking with another law firm."
  • Arrange for retention paperwork to be sent to prospective clients and explain how to complete and return it.
  • Consistently follow up with prospective clients until they make a decision and, when they retain us, ensure their paperwork is returned.
