Requirements

  • An Associate’s Degree (or the equivalent) in Accounting
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in all areas of Excel
  • Must be dependable and adaptable
  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Sage, Vena, HCSIS, Promise Billing, Evolv and iCare preferred

Responsibilities

  • Promotes and demonstrates ethical and professional conduct at all times
  • Provides excellent customer service to Delta’s internal and external customers
  • Promote continuous quality improvement projects and ongoing performance measures
  • Utilize HCSIS & Promise programs as needed
  • Enter budgets into Accounting software (Currently Vena and Sage)
  • Assist in preparation and submission of cost reports for funders including DDD, DCF, ODP, and OCYF
  • Assist in developing & maintaining budgets
  • Monthly coding of electronic transactions in the credit card system
  • Provide back-up and support to AR and finance departments
  • Provide routine internal reporting
  • Provide assistance on various projects
  • Performs such other duties that may be assigned for providing excellent customer service and for the most effective operation of the company
