About The Position

Oakworth Capital Bank is expanding and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Brentwood, TN! We are looking for a fulltime Client Experience Specialist that will play a vital role in supporting our current & future clients. An ideal candidate would meet the qualifications listed below, and more importantly, be able to demonstrate that they live by Oakworth Core Values (Golden Rule, Character, Innovative Spirit, Professionalism, Work Ethic). Responsibilities and Duties: This position is focused on providing an exceptional client experience when guests visit or call Oakworth Capital Bank. The Client Experience Specialist will lead our client lobby experience and is responsible for a variety of tasks including those listed below:

Requirements

  • Knowledge of security and cash control procedures
  • Understanding of general banking laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree is preferred
  • Four or more years of banking experience is preferred
  • Proven success in previous bank branch operations role is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent client service with the ability to stay positive in interactions with clients and fellow associates.
  • Welcome on-site visitors as well as answer calls and emails, determine nature of business, and refer to the appropriate associate if the need cannot be resolved in the lobby.
  • Processing account transactions effectively: Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions, verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts of deposit.
  • Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based upon regulation requirements and complete hold notices.
  • Process savings withdrawals; cash checks (verify endorsement, receive proper identification and ensure validity).
  • Following proper procedures to minimize errors and reduce fraud.
  • Keeping the lobby and reception area in a neat and organized appearance for our guests.
  • Building great rapport with Oakworth clients.
  • Being a strong team player that works collaboratively with the Oakworth team to successfully support the daily functions and strategic deliverable.
  • Work in various online systems.
