Vertis Wealth•Chicago, IL
•Onsite

About The Position

Vertis Wealth and Law is seeking an intern to combine client experience responsibilities with disciplined brand-content support. The intern will provide scheduled phone and reception backup, follow approved procedures, accurately capture messages, and protect confidential information. They will research and draft approved blog topics for an educated audience without providing individualized financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Content must be submitted for editorial and compliance approval; interns do not publish directly. The intern will also assist with scheduling and publishing pre-approved social media content across the company’s platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency with brand guidelines. The role offers experience in professional client communication, message accuracy, escalation judgment, office discretion, research, source evaluation, editing, brand voice, and compliant financial-services content development. Interns will also learn how client service, wealth management, legal services, tax planning, and marketing operate within one firm. Reliable in-office attendance is essential. Full-time employment after the internship is not promised; strong performers may be considered for future Client Experience Coordinator or Marketing Coordinator openings. Account Manager consideration has additional performance, tenure, opening, and training requirements.

  • Majors considered include communications, public relations, journalism, English, professional writing, marketing, digital media, advertising, business administration, psychology, hospitality, finance, financial planning, accounting, economics, and pre-law.
