The Client Experience Ambassador will play a key role providing optimum reception and switchboard services to the Firm which requires providing clients and visitors with a point of contact when they telephone or visit the Firm. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead, motivate, and develop long term relationships with clients and staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a reception area for a business or professional services firm
  • Knowledge of a computerized switchboard console
  • Professionalism and customer-service/interpersonal skills required to deal with visitors, clients, and staff members
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Calendar, Teams and Word, searching internet/intranet
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications

Nice To Haves

  • A Community College Diploma in business administration or equivalent is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients/visitors in person, ensuring they are treated in an efficient and expedient manner, informing appropriate person of visitor arrival, and ensuring client needs are met by answering questions and ensuring the provision of requested services (e.g. photocopying)
  • Maintain Firm security by ensuring all visitors are properly checked in and provided with visitor tags. Notify Firm or building security of unauthorized visitors
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls to the Firm’s switchboard, properly directs phone calls, take accurate messages, locate appropriate staff if messages are urgent, answer caller’s inquiries, etc.
  • Assist clients and lawyers daily with the Conference Centre Buffet by providing them with buffet procedures, directing them to the correct meeting and explaining menu options while liaising with the catering kitchen for special request and needs
  • Assist with any urgent requests for additional services to be provided to boardroom meetings
  • Perform other duties as required
