The Client Executive in the Specialty Lines team plays a key role in delivering outstanding service and support to our clients. Working closely with the Assistant Vice President and the broader team, the Client Executive takes responsibility for managing assigned account renewals from start to finish while maintaining effective communication with insurance carriers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, urgency, and a strong customer service orientation to meet our service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 7 years in the insurance industry
  • Customer service oriented, sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Office 365 including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Excel specific).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Fully bilingual both English and Spanish

  • Preferred experience with EPIC

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, organize, and file client records on a daily basis, including policies, endorsements, insurance certificates, correspondence, and other relevant documents.
  • Keep the Summary of Coverage up to date throughout the policy year as changes occur.
  • Facilitate internal communications between departments such as Bonds, Construction, Benefits, Financial Lines, Personal Lines, Accounting, and Claims to route client requests appropriately.
  • Review policies to ensure they are issued as quoted, identify discrepancies, and request corrections when necessary.
  • Verify and forward requested endorsements to clients in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and revise with Client Executive Assistant folders and/or emails for policy delivery, ensuring they include all relevant documents such as the Summary of Coverages, invoices (including dummy invoices if applicable), certificates, and any additional client-required documentation.
  • Ensure clients receive invoices in a timely manner to support accurate billing and month-end closing, when applicable.
  • Coordinate the request for premium financing contract quotes from the Accounting Department and forward them to clients.
  • Monitor payments and maintain a record of key account milestones, including renewals, payments, deliveries, and reviews, while developing a plan to manage the renewal process effectively.
  • Handle client communications for renewals, including requests for updated information such as financial statements, by-laws, and renewal applications.
  • Meet with underwriters to negotiate renewal terms in favor of our clients.
  • Prepare submissions and proposals.
  • Confirm renewal instructions for clients and provide binding order.
