World Wide Technology has an opportunity available for a Global Service Provider Account Manager to join our GSP, Media & Gaming sales team working with one of our large cloud computing, security, and content delivery customers. This position will be focused on achieving goals by selling World Wide Technology’s suite of products through multiple OEM’s including Cisco, Dell EMC, HP, NetApp and VMware.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a successful track record of selling hardware and services to Fortune 500 clients.
  • Understanding the technical challenges and demands of networking communication, storage, and virtualization
  • Ideal experience includes consultative solution selling with a focus on Value Added Services, Storage, Datacenters or Virtualization.
  • Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and the ability to recommend and position technical solutions to solve customers’ business challenges.
  • Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer’s organization, managing partner relationships and leading complex projects.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Candidates who have experience selling to dynamic Enterprise or Media customers would be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Positioning Enterprise Technology, Networking and Data Center solutions as well as WWT’s value added services to large complex Media Conglomerates.
  • Ability to effectively work with consulting systems engineers to consult accounts and expand our engagements.
  • Professional networking to build relationships with C-level executives and decision-making managers.
  • Working with an Inside Sales Team in coordinating sales activities.
  • Maintaining client and OEM relationships.
  • Continuing education on evolving networking, collaboration, virtualization, and storage technologies.
