About The Position

As a Client Engagement Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of client accounts across POLITICO’s strategic and cross-platform solutions. You oversee the execution of campaigns and partnerships, serving as a key client contact and collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience and successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years of relevant experience managing client relationships and executing integrated campaigns or partnerships within media, advertising, agency, events, or related industries
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, agency partners, and internal teams, and are comfortable serving as a primary point of contact.
  • Thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and enjoy bringing teams together to execute complex programs successfully.
  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in delivering polished, high-quality work and client experiences.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to adapt quickly when priorities or client needs evolve.
  • Comfortable managing integrated campaigns across digital advertising, branded content, and live events or experiential programs.
  • Enjoy balancing relationship management with operational execution and project management.
  • Can interpret campaign performance data and use insights to inform optimizations and client reporting.
  • Energized by client service and motivated to build strong, trusted relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Understand how to balance exceptional client service with operational feasibility and internal business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the holistic execution of strategic and cross-platform advertising campaigns (including digital advertising, brand content and live events), ensuring each program meets the client’s and POLITICO’s needs and expectations.
  • Project manages across client programs, including timeline oversight, deliverable coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients and agency partners, managing day-to-day communication throughout the lifecycle of each campaign in collaboration with team leadership.
  • Partners with Advertising Operations to monitor campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and develop progress updates and final performance reports for clients.
  • Anticipates and proactively resolves operational, client service, and execution challenges, balancing client needs with internal workflows, timelines, and business priorities.
