As a Client Engagement Associate, you are responsible for engaging prospective and existing clients who have expressed interest in Empower’s financial services, with the goal of generating qualified interest in wealth management offerings. The position serves as a critical connection point between clients and Financial Advisors by conducting outbound outreach, qualifying needs, and scheduling advisory consultations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
  • Previous experience in financial services, sales, or client engagement preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.
  • For remote and hybrid positions you will be required to provide reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection as well as a place in your home to work with limited disruption. You must have reliable connectivity from an internet service provider that is fiber, cable or DSL internet. Other necessary computer equipment, will be provided. You may be required to work in the office if you do not have an adequate home work environment and the required internet connection.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of outbound and inbound calls to prospective and current clients who have expressed interest in financial services
  • Generate interest and qualify clients for meetings with Financial Advisors to discuss goals, investment strategies, and financial planning needs
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring a high completion rate for advisor meetings
  • Engage clients via phone, chat, and email to answer questions, provide guidance, and enhance the client experience
  • Utilize pre-defined scripts and sound judgment to assess client needs and determine appropriate next steps
  • Gather and document client information, including financial needs, goals, and relevant screening details
  • Accurately record all client interactions in CRM systems
  • Partner with Financial Advisors regarding prospective client opportunities and handoffs
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the financial dashboard and escalate to technical support when needed
  • Route client inquiries to appropriate departments for additional support
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
