About The Position

UPSTACK is looking to hire a Client Engagement Advisor (Sr. BDR) to join our growing sales organization. This role is ideal for a driven, strategic sales professional who thrives in a high-energy environment and is eager to take ownership of new business development. The Sr. BDR will identify, engage, and nurture prospective clients to drive pipeline growth and revenue expansion. This position reports to the Manager, Client Engagement, and will operate within the CST/EST time zones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in IT services, SaaS, or telecommunications.
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce and other sales enablement tools.
  • A growth mindset and leadership potential, with a desire to build and scale a team over time
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software and digital sales tools
  • Ability to work standard business hours aligned with CST/EST time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and engage prospective customers through outbound efforts (cold calls, emails, social selling, etc.).
  • Qualify leads and set up high-value meetings for the sales team.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our business model, value proposition, and industry landscape.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, AVPs, and Marketing to refine outreach strategies and drive measurable pipeline growth.
  • Track and manage outreach efforts in Salesforce to ensure a consistent and data-driven approach.
  • Maintain a pulse on industry trends and competitive insights to optimize sales outreach.
  • Work toward a transition into a leadership position, contributing to the future expansion of the BDR function.
