This position is responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining federal client relationships that result in sustainable and profitable business; seeking, developing and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic business and tactical action plans and participating in related marketing and business activities for JMT’s Buildings and Facilities business line.

  • Collaborating across JMT’s four service lines (Transportation; Water, Energy and Environment; Building and Facilities; and Technology) to develop a comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice areas, clients and competition.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong and diverse business/industry network.
  • Developing relationships with new/existing federal clients to discover project and program pipeline.
  • Monitoring client performance trends/issues utilizing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Participating in training and development of future firm leaders.
  • Involved in Professional organizations, committees, and Officer positions.
  • Developing and reporting on Metrics of Marketing success.
  • Conducting market research and gathering information on potential federal markets, clients and projects.
  • Developing, monitoring and implementing strategic business action plans for potential federal market clients and their projects.
  • Obtaining feedback from clients to assess past JMT performance.
  • Developing corrective action plans, as necessary.
  • Leading client presentations, pitches, and proposals to effectively position services and secure new federal business opportunities.
