About The Position

August Haven’s mission is to provide a brand experience that inspires and guides our customers in selecting home furnishings that reflect their creative interests, experiences and aspirations while being consistent with time-honored design principles. Since 2011, August Haven has boasted a unique collection of urban contemporary, vintage, and antique home furnishings. The purpose of this role is to create a warm, personalized environment ensuring each guest feels valued and connected with the right professional for a WOW experience.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work rotating days, evenings, and weekends - about 30 hours/week
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
• Strong communication & relationship-building skills
• Positive attitude and professional presence
• Ability to multi-task & adapt to changing priorities
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to work

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome, engage, and pamper guests
• Connect guests with the right Design or Sales professional
• Support the presentation and sale of design packages
• Manage consistent sensory engagement
• Administrative responsibilities to include tagging, office responsibilities, inventory preparations, and more
