About The Position

Freedom Caregivers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Client Care Specialist (CCS) in Wooster, OH. This role is for an experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) looking to advance their career. The CCS will ensure clients receive exceptional care, support agency growth, build relationships with clients and caregivers, cover open shifts, train new caregivers, and communicate updates to supervisors. The position requires upholding agency policies and standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HHA or STNA.
• Ability to work flexible shifts between 8 am and 6 pm Monday – Friday and occasional weekends if needed.
• Clear communication in English, both written and verbal.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps.
• Excels in customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and quickly build rapport with clients and caregivers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and work collaboratively to meet agency needs.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Reliable and consistent transportation.
• Current proof of auto insurance.
• HHA or STNA certification.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Physically able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences by building lasting relationships with clients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure continuity of care by covering open client shifts as needed.
• Train and mentor new caregivers directly in clients' homes.
• Communicate caregiver performance and satisfaction updates to supervisors.
• Follow all caregiver responsibilities and uphold agency policies, procedures, and high standards of conduct.
