About The Position

Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre is welcoming a full-time OVERNIGHT Client Care Specialist who is an exceptionally organized multi-tasker and enthusiastic self-motivated individual. If you excel at customer service, have a passion for client care, and a love for animals, we are excited to welcome you to our dedicated team! This position will be on a rotational schedule, typically between the hours of 7pm-6am.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service and administrative duties
  • Prior knowledge/or ability to learn medical terminology
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Empathetic, nurturing and positive attitude
  • Skilled in prioritizing needs, open to change and adaptable
  • Initiative in carrying out assignments independently
  • Attention to detail with above average time management skills
  • Must be flexible with rotation overnight schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Previous veterinary experience or graduated from an accredited Veterinary Assistant program is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client service and education to pet parents.
  • Enhance the client’s experience by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team.
  • Ensure clients and their pets feel welcomed, expertly cared for and appreciated.
  • Act as the first and last point of contact, building trust and loyalty with clients.
