As a Client Associate, you will work closely with Investment Advisors at CIBC Wood Gundy to help manage their portfolios and develop new business. You will directly engage with high-net-worth clients to offer support, uncover business opportunities, and proactively improve the client experience. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Current accreditation and in good standing as an Investment Representative (IR) with Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization - Investment Dealer (CIRO-ID).
Financial Services and/or Brokerage industry experience.
Working knowledge of various quotation equipment.

Responsibilities

Manage investment portfolios and develop new business in collaboration with Investment Advisors.
Engage directly with high-net-worth clients to offer support and uncover business opportunities.
Proactively improve the client experience.
Identify business opportunities for the team.
Assist in building investment plans based on client profiles, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
Heighten CIBC brand awareness in the community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities.
Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.
