About The Position

Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm. The Client Analytics & Reporting team within the COO team of the Direct & Institutional Businesses supports a broad array of responsibilities. This role involves querying data from various applications, organizing and analyzing it to identify trends, and developing data visualizations and reports for business leaders. A key aspect of this position is identifying data inconsistencies and proposing strategic improvements for data quality and reporting to better support the business. The role also includes connecting client data to business, industry, and economic performance data to generate actionable insights, performing modeling to predict business outcomes, and identifying opportunities for process improvement or automation. Collaboration with colleagues in Analytics & Data, Finance, Sales, Product, and Strategy is essential to provide insights that drive business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience using data visualization reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Dataiku, PowerBI)
  • Experience building and running reports in Salesforce
  • Ability to work independently and possess a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Self-starter and quick learner, able to prioritize to manage delivery and execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, aptitude for working with numerical information
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Querying data from various applications.
