This is a full-time, hourly position for a Client Advocate at the Domestic Violence Center. The role involves providing advocacy and crisis intervention services for clients, including completing intake interviews, answering the hotline, safety planning, and facilitating community building activities. The advocate will also teach basic life skills, provide support and assistance with case management/treatment goals, dispense medications, maintain documentation, and perform clerical duties. Responsibilities extend to assisting with volunteer training, attending trainings to meet licensing requirements, performing minor maintenance, maintaining client confidentiality, communicating with staff, attending meetings, maintaining a clean environment, organizing donations, creating menus, preparing meals, and acting as an on-call advocate. Participation in Performance and Quality Improvement activities is required.
