About The Position

We are hiring Client Advisors for our Passages & Alpha programs. This entry-level position offers a starting wage of $17.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience and education, with an 8% night-shift differential. Alternatives provides thorough, paid training, including a one-week orientation and a one-week specialized role training, both from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. After the initial two weeks, you will transition to your assigned schedule, which may include shifts like Swings (3-11pm) and Overnights (11pm-7am).

Requirements

High School Diploma
Ability to pass federal drug testing.
Ability to pass background check.
Valid driver's license.
Firm, fair, and consistent boundaries with residents.
Ability to be empathetic.
Customer service skills.
Ability to work various shifts – we are a 24/7-hour facility with Days, Swings, and Over-Night shifts.
Flexibility can be required at times of great need.

Responsibilities

Assisting residents and vendors who are coming in or out of the facility.
Security functions to include pat-downs, UA screenings, breathalyzers, and headcounts.
Being role-models of acceptable and expected behavior for the residents.
Reporting and regularly communicating information to other team members.
Writing notes and IRs for residents; positively reinforcing good behavior.
Attending meetings.

Pro Rata Basis: Accrual rates for employees working 20-30 hours per week are on a pro rata basis.
