The Client Advisor I is responsible for relationship building, including preparing for customer interactions, building rapport, understanding customer financial goals, and matching them with Seacoast Bank products and services. This role also involves explaining products, closing sales, asking for referrals, and demonstrating strong listening and communication skills. The advisor will utilize customer-facing technology, respond promptly to customer needs, and manage potential risks to the bank. They are expected to embrace new technology, participate in community events, deliver presentations, and exhibit strong work ethics and teamwork. The role requires pursuing NMLS registration, building proficiencies in consumer deposit and lending products, developing an understanding of small business products, and demonstrating proficiency in outbound calling and identifying referral opportunities. In operations, the Client Advisor I will open and process accounts, perform account maintenance, and handle transactions while adhering to bank policies, AML/BSA requirements, audit procedures, and security protocols. They are responsible for reviewing operational procedures, following up on audit deficiencies, balancing their cash drawer, and resolving customer objections. Adherence to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct and safety procedures is mandatory.
