About The Position
Jones & Roth is seeking an experienced CAAS Accountant to support small- to mid-size business clients across the firm, with a strong connection to the Central Oregon business community. This role blends full-cycle accounting, technology, and advisory services—helping clients improve financial visibility, streamline processes, and make better decisions.
Requirements
- Full cycle accounting experience (including payroll)
- Strong QuickBooks Online skills (certification preferred)
- Experience with cloud-based accounting tools; Syft or similar a plus
- Ability to develop and track KPIs and financial metrics
- Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience reviewing work and supporting team development
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple clients
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including payroll and month-end close
- Deliver timely financial reporting with insights and recommendations
- Build and maintain KPIs and dashboards using Syft
- Provide financial oversight and review of client accounting
- Improve processes, workflows, and internal controls
- Support cloud-based systems (QuickBooks Online and integrated apps)
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow tracking, and forecasting
- Identify trends and communicate actionable insights
- Supervise staff and interns
