About The Position
This Senior Client Accountant role is a great opportunity. You would be joining a family-oriented office in Chattanooga while receiving support from seasoned industry professionals in the market and receive mentorship from Senior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Strong accounting skills required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills required
Nice To Haves
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience preferred
- CPA eligible preferred
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates needed knowledge of accounting principles and techniques to complete assignments in a timely manner with normal supervision
- Understands and follows prior year work papers and journal entries
- Maintains and updates accounting records and files
- Conducts month-end and year-end closures
- Prepares documents for audits and/or tax
- Follows through on responsibilities and takes ownership of assignments
- Communicates professionally and promptly to clients
