As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help us solve challenges and succeed as you grow and understand the unique needs of our clients and tailor easy-to-use solutions to deliver the performance they need. With a position in Sales & Marketing, you’ll strengthen our relationships with clients, anticipate their needs, and think outside the box to unlock new possibilities. This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days (Tue/Wed/Thu) in the office at our Lake Mary, FL location and two days (Mon/Fri) remote per week. The in-office days are subject to business needs. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary. Client Account Associate are responsible for generating qualified leads that progress into revenue-generating opportunities, nurturing prospects, and setting up meetings for sales executives through various channels, including email, phone, and web.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but we also value a high school diploma with two years of work, military, or relevant experience.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds as needed (e.g., moving office supplies or small packages).
  • Ability to bend, reach, or stoop as needed to access file cabinets, office equipment, or other resources.
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods.
  • Ability to work at a desk or workstation for extended periods of time, including using a computer or writing.

Responsibilities

  • Possess a complete understanding of Paylocity’s products, services, sales tools, and processes.
  • Prospect and qualify current clients for Paylocity’s HCM solutions.
  • Engage current clients through multi-channel outreach, including phone, email, and social selling, to generate high-value sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with Client Account Executives to develop targeted lead-generation strategies and coordinate seamless hand-offs.
  • Establish trust with current clients through consultative conversations, positioning Paylocity as a long-term partner in workforce transformation.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Set appropriate client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate prospecting data, track interactions, and leverage analytics to refine outreach strategies.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities to support and facilitate the CAE sales process.
