Requirements

  • 0–3+ years of experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic problem‑solving and data review skills.
  • Familiarity with TMS or dispatch systems preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and comfort navigating dashboards or reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily dispatch operations: Assist with route execution, load assignment, and monitoring freight movement to ensure service windows are met.
  • Serve as an operations point of contact: Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and customer representatives regarding load status, ETAs, and service exceptions.
  • Track material flow: Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, verify load details, and report discrepancies or risks to on‑time performance.
  • Maintain compliance and safety standards: Follow company policies and DOT/OSHA requirements and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Handle real‑time issues: Help resolve service disruptions such as delays, breakdowns, or accessorial issues by relaying information and documenting details accurately.
  • Maintain records and reporting: Update manifests, logs, and system records; support performance tracking and basic KPI reporting.
  • Assist with continuous improvement: Identify process gaps or recurring issues and share observations with leadership.
