About The Position

The Service Center Clerk answers customer inquiries, processes paperwork, and follows procedures concerning coverages, shortages, damages, claims, and freight tracing. The role works with central and local dispatch offices to help manage load schedules and responds to customer questions about rate quotes, appointments, and related matters. The listed wage is $21.97 per hour.

Requirements

• Be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices.
• Work with central and local dispatch offices to assist in managing load schedules.
• Answer customer inquiries relating to rate quotes, appointments, and related matters.
• Perform data entry functions, including keying bills from manifests.
• Process paperwork and follow procedures concerning coverages, shortages, damages, claims, and freight tracing.
