Under limited supervision, performs routine but varied clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures. Applies knowledge of department policies and procedures, and utilizes a general understanding of other departments' functions to perform assigned duties. Assists in the completion of special projects and reports as needed. Answers and manages incoming telephone calls, provides information, directs calls to appropriate personnel, and takes messages as needed. Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and coordinating with vendors as necessary.
