Provide clerical support to assistant principal(s). This role involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the school office and support for the assistant principal.

Responsibilities

  • Check SAC roll, attendance, and assignments, including typing and recording information.
  • Manage filing systems, including setting up new files and maintaining existing ones.
  • Assist with reports, handling of monies, and fines.
  • Assist with building inventories.
  • Type correspondence, forms, and other documents as required by the assistant principal.
  • Handle telephone calls, including answering, taking messages, and transferring calls.
  • Schedule appointments with parents and maintain an up-to-date calendar, keeping the assistant principal informed.
  • Perform general receptionist duties.
  • Assist with student registration as needed.
  • Provide assistance to students and teachers when required.
  • Assist in the receipt and proofing of grade scan sheets.
