MTC operates the Joliet Job Corps Center in Joliet, IL, providing quality services to local youth. The Clerk, Scheduling/Testing Coordinator is responsible for performing a variety of routine accounting duties in compliance with government and management directives. This role involves operating electronic data processing equipment, administering and interpreting test results (TABE, Pre-GED), managing student schedules, assisting with data equipment tests, ensuring contractual compliance, preparing reports, managing forms, ensuring weekly course completions, and maintaining a clean and secure office environment. The coordinator also supports student employability programs, enforces the Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy, promotes Career Success Standards, and maintains accountability of students and property. The position requires providing positive, quality customer services to students, staff, and other center customers, and cultivating a climate free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect.
