Clerk Phlebotomist PRN Nights
About The Position
This position will work as needed, with every third weekend and one major/one minor holiday rotation requirement. The role involves drawing blood by capillary or venipuncture, properly labeling tubes, and delivering them to the Lab according to Laboratory Policy and Procedure. The Clerk Phlebotomist will maintain the Order Monitor and organize workload with phlebotomy staff and other applicable hospital personnel. Responsibilities also include performing Front Office duties, processing extra tubes (including centrifuging and proper storage), and loading specimens onto the Roche Modular Pre-Analytics (MPA) system. Additionally, the role involves answering telephones and responding to inquiries from hospital personnel, visitors, or others. Participation in training procedures as directed by the supervisor is also required.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy experience or successful completion of Phlebotomy training in an accredited Phlebotomy program preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
