Clerk Phlebotomist full time Nights
About The Position
This is a full-time position working nights, 5 days a week for 8 hours a day. The shift hours are from 2200 to 0630. This role requires working every third weekend and rotating through one major and one minor holiday. The primary responsibility is to draw blood by capillary or venipuncture, properly label tubes, and deliver them to the Lab according to policy. The role also involves maintaining the Order Monitor, organizing workload with phlebotomy staff and other hospital personnel, and performing Front Office responsibilities. This includes processing extra tubes, centrifuging, and proper storage, as well as loading specimens onto the Roche Modular Pre-Analytics (MPA) system. Additionally, the position requires answering telephones, responding to inquiries, and participating in training procedures as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy experience or successful completion of Phlebotomy training in an accredited Phlebotomy program preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
