This position is for a Clerk Phlebotomist in a Fulltime 40-hour night shift program. The program involves working four 10-hour shifts with rotation as needed, including weekends and holidays. Participants in the night program receive an additional $2 per hour differential on top of existing off-shift differentials. This differential applies only to night hours worked as part of the program. Additional day shifts will not receive this differential. Laboratory professionals working rotating night shifts but not in the program will not receive the additional differential. Paid time off (PTO) requests require advance approval and will not include the night program differential. Business unit leaders determine the number of program participants based on needs. Eligibility for the program requires being in a regular full-time or part-time laboratory professional role in a department needing 24-hour coverage, having completed orientation and at least six months of experience, and maintaining a Solid/Strong/Good performance rating with no corrective actions in the last six months. New employees can enter at hire. Resigning or being removed from the program prohibits re-entry for one calendar year. Participants not working steady night shifts are ineligible for the differential and may be removed from the program. Medical benefits, STD, LTD, PTO, and tuition reimbursement are not impacted by program participation.
