About The Position

This Part Time Mid-shift Clerk/Phlebotomist Lab position requires working every third weekend and a rotation for one major and one minor holiday. The role involves drawing blood by capillary or venipuncture, ensuring proper labeling of tubes, and delivering them to the Lab in accordance with Laboratory Policy and Procedure. Key responsibilities also include maintaining the Order Monitor, organizing workload collaboratively with phlebotomy staff and other hospital personnel, and performing Front Office duties such as processing extra tubes, including centrifuging and proper storage. The individual will be responsible for loading specimens onto the Roche Modular Pre-Analytics (MPA) system, answering telephones, and responding to inquiries from hospital personnel, visitors, or others. Participation in training procedures as directed by a supervisor is also expected. Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy experience or successful completion of Phlebotomy training in an accredited Phlebotomy program
