The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. The Clerk I (Medical Diagnostic Clerk) functions as a member of the medical clerical support team under the direct supervision of the Medical Director. The Clerk I performs clerical duties requiring application of varied complex work methods and procedures. Has latitude for decision making in carrying out routine and special phases of work, timely completion of the clinical record, maintaining records and confidential files, preparing routine and special reports, and utilizing computers and various automated office machines. Exercises initiative and judgment in determining individual methods and practices for work situation.
