About The Position

This is a permanent part-time position at the Yorkton Food Store. The role involves delivering legendary service to make all guests of our Co-op feel “at home here”. Responsibilities include cashiering, stocking products, and general food store duties such as housekeeping and opening/closing procedures.

Requirements

• Interested in a career in customer service

• Retail experience in customer service, point of sale operation, and merchandising
• Willing to work all shifts scheduled including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
• Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting of 50 lbs, climb ladders and kneel

Responsibilities

• Cashiering – processing transactions through the Point-of-Sale system including tobacco and lottery sales
• Stocking – stock and face products within the store
• General Food Store duties – housekeeping, opening, closing
