If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a Warehouse Clerk to join our team at our bakery facility. As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be accountable for ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of finished goods through the warehouse and shipping process. This role supports inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, food safety compliance, and on-time shipment performance while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Stand-up forklift experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and data entry systems.
  • Ability to accurately enter, retrieve, and manage production and inventory information.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and food manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of experience in a food manufacturing or light industrial environment.
  • Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse documentation processes.
  • Previous experience training or onboarding warehouse/shipping employees.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.
  • Experience operating automated warehouse equipment, robotics, or receiving functions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring accuracy of shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and customer orders.
  • Maintain product quality and food safety standards through inspections, proper product handling, FIFO adherence, and trailer condition verification.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy by conducting cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and supporting inventory control activities.
  • Support warehouse operations by minimizing shipping delays, ensuring proper loading practices, and verifying load integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, carriers, customers, and team members to promote efficient operations and issue resolution.
  • Train new team members on shipping procedures, safety practices, and departmental processes while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Operate and Learn warehouse equipment and systems, including forklifts, automated equipment, receiving functions, and inventory management tools.
