The Wayne County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Transportation Department is seeking qualified applicants for a Clerk 2 position in Honesdale, PA. This role involves front desk and clerical duties to support drivers, supervisors, caseworkers, and community members. Requirements

Minimum of six months as a Clerk 1 and educational development to the level of the eighth grade; or Completion of a high school business curriculum; or Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges and abilities.
Must meet the PA residency requirement.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Must pass a background investigation.
A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
Must submit and have approved satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

Take travel reservations from existing consumers.
Direct and communicate with drivers to ensure safe, reliable, and timely transportation.
Help new consumers complete forms to apply for transportation services.
Check and ensure the accuracy of customer data, addresses, trip mileage, and reimbursement amounts and totals.
Greet walk-ins, answer phones, take messages, and provide accurate general information and reliable, courteous customer service.
Perform data entry, scan documents, and process mail.
Help maintain filing systems and ensure records are updated.
Meet deadlines in a timely manner and maintain smooth paperwork flow for case management staff.
