About The Position

As a Cleared Security Officer Defense Location in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and support a secure environment while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
