You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Must have an active Texas Armed Guard Card
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, maintain required equipment, and support security-related operations in a professional manner.
