Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including manufacturing procedures and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision assembly work.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration and training.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Problem-solving mindset to identify and resolve issues in processes or equipment.
  • Dependable and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of process flows, operational sequencing, process risks, safety hazards, and quality requirements across all assigned processes.
  • Effectively coach and demonstrate standard work and processes to trainees, modeling best practices and expected behaviors.
  • Support trainees in understanding quality standards, production pacing, and workstation requirements; verify and sign off on the quality of completed parts as appropriate.
  • Practice active listening to promote open communication and provide timely, specific, and constructive feedback to support individual development.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and adjust machine settings within established process parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  • Encourage a culture of problem-solving by guiding team members in the use of root cause analysis (RCA) tools and methodologies.
  • Mentor others in delivering effective feedback, strengthening feedback systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Reinforce training through ongoing coaching and identify opportunities for process and performance improvements.
  • Serve as backup support for line lead responsibilities as needed to maintain operational continuity.
  • Utilize ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications to complete daily administrative and operational tasks.
