About The Position

Prepare, setup, weigh, package, fill and label products in accordance with cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures to meet customer demands. This role operates within an ISO Class 7 environment and involves handling hazardous materials.

Requirements

  • High School completion or equivalent (GED)
  • 0-2 years equivalent experience in production in a cleanroom environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
  • Ability to be trained on and adhere to all cleanroom protocols
  • Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
  • Must be flexible, forward-thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, setup, weigh, package, fill and label products.
  • Work in accordance with cGMP, Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety and departmental procedures.
  • Weigh and fill chemicals or bulk products in accordance with Production Work Order (PWO).
  • Operate production scales, including verifications and calibrations.
  • Setup, operate, clean and maintain equipment such as automatic heat sealers, electronic floor scales, pumps, crushers, auger filling units, autoclave units, vibrating filler units, induction sealing equipment, and portable exhaust hoods.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and cGMPs to maintain ISO Class 7 environment.
  • Package finished product for shipping (boxing, labeling) per Work Instructions.
  • Handle hazardous materials using appropriate safety gear.
  • Clean workstation and surrounding areas after each product filling.
  • Complete documentation legibly and verify for accuracy.
  • Maintain expected quality and quantity of work.
  • Follow cGMP policies and procedures for handling, storage, packing, manufacturing, and distributing products.
  • Support co-workers and work as a team player.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process and follow change control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
