This role is for a Cleanroom Maintenance Technician II, specifically for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). The position is full-time and involves keeping production, HVAC, facility equipment, and infrastructure in good working order. The technician will detect and correct errors, operate equipment, and perform repairs by disassembling and replacing parts. A strong understanding of electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics is expected for repairing sophisticated equipment. After repairs, the machine will be tested to ensure proper functioning. Responsibilities include performing tear downs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance, as well as participating in the development and training of Maintenance Technician I employees. The role requires working a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment while adhering to Health, Safety, and Quality policies, including the use of PPE. For SQF Certified Sites, additional responsibilities include understanding cGMPs and Good Hygiene Personnel Practices, performing basic sanitation functions, and notifying relevant personnel of any food safety or quality issues. The technician must be able to initiate action to prevent non-conformities and follow HOLD SOPs to control non-conforming products. A thorough understanding of all company policies, including GMPs, safety policies, HACCP, and SQF, is essential. The role also requires adherence to safety policies, maintaining a clean work area, reporting unsafe conditions, and wearing company-issued PPE. Knowledge and experience with LOTO (Lock-Out Tag-Out) are also required.
