About The Position

Maintains strict cleanliness and sanitation standards within cleanroom environments. Must adhere to all protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product safety. This role involves cleaning certified cleanrooms, including floors, walls, surfaces, windows, and equipment using approved materials. The position also requires maintaining logs, handling waste, restocking PPE, and complying with all PPE requirements. Additionally, the janitor will perform general janitorial duties in non-cleanroom areas, including office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, as well as exterior building and grounds maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans certified cleanroom per established policies and procedures.
  • Cleans floors, walls, surfaces, windows, and equipment using approved cleaning materials.
  • Keeps cleanroom areas clean and orderly.
  • Maintains logs and documentation for all cleaning tasks performed in the cleanroom.
  • Handles and disposes of waste and/or trash materials.
  • Restocks cleanroom PPE such as hairnets, gowns, masks, gloves, and shoe covers as needed.
  • Complies with all PPE requirements when performing tasks in the cleanroom area.
  • Completes tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Maintains cleaning supplies inventory and requests orders for supplies.
  • Complies with all company safety guidelines, PPE requirements, regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Will be cross-trained and perform duties as Building Janitor as needed.
  • Performs general janitorial duties in office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, employee break areas, kitchens, conference rooms and other common areas daily.
  • Dusts and cleans surfaces such as desks, furniture, vents, blinds, baseboards, and fixtures.
  • Empties trash, replaces liners, and sanitizes high-touch surfaces daily.
  • Cleans floors (vacuum, sweep, mop) and maintains a tidy appearance in all interior areas.
  • Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in the correct placement.
  • Restocks restroom, break room, kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Notifies management of any facility maintenance needs and/or safety concerns inside the building.
  • Picks up and properly disposes of litter, debris, and trash around the exterior of buildings and parking areas.
  • Cleans exterior windows, doors, and building facades as needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness around dumpsters and waste disposal areas.
  • Reports any safety hazards or damage to exterior property to management immediately.
