About The Position

ABM is seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role helps ensure areas comply with regulatory requirements and stringent cleanliness protocols to support product safety and quality. The position is located at 5204 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741, and pays $16 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday from 6 a.m. to noon and Thursday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is described as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have previous cleaning experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably pharmaceutical or healthcare. Customer service experience, one year of similar work experience, and strong attention to detail with the ability to follow strict procedures are preferred. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Previous experience cleaning in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain buildings and facilities.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notify the Manager about the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, manually or with hand trucks.
Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Wash and replace blinds.
Gather and empty trash.
Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
