About The Position

This position involves assembling, fabricating, and cleaning parts to create subassemblies and complete units. The role requires testing, calibrating, inspecting, and certifying parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet specified tolerances and product requirements. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and utilizing various systems and tools for inspection and verification processes.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Aerospace knowledge.
  • Experience with calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Leeplug installation tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0 – 3 years manufacturing/assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, fabricate and clean parts to subassemblies and complete units.
  • Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Read and identify blueprint requirements.
  • Utilize Epicor for receiving/rejecting parts.
  • Perform final inspection, identify exceptions, and file all documents.
  • Conduct Epicor verification buy-off and stamp hard cards.
  • Perform in-process inspection/verification, ensuring all test certificates are in hard cards.
  • Measure all sealing surfaces and O-ring depths.
