About The Position

This role involves assembling, fabricating, and cleaning parts to create subassemblies and complete units. The position requires testing, calibrating, inspecting, and certifying parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet specified tolerances and product requirements. Key tasks include reading and identifying blueprint requirements, using Epicor for receiving/rejecting parts, performing final inspections, identifying exceptions, filing documents, verifying buy-offs in Epicor, stamping hard cards, and in-process inspection and verification of test certificates. Additionally, the role requires measuring all sealing surfaces and O-ring depths.

Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Leeplug installation tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0 – 3 years manufacturing/assembly experience.

  • Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Read and identify blueprint requirements.
  • Use Epicor for receiving/rejecting parts.
  • Perform final inspection, identify exceptions and file all documents.
  • Perform Epicor verification buy off and stamp hard card.
  • Conduct in-process inspection/verification of all test certificates in hard card.
  • Measure all sealing surfaces and O-ring depth.
