This position is responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, and tracking driver file DOT requirements. The role serves as a liaison for internal customer support and tracks all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet. The primary duties involve inspecting trailers, tracks, and the intermodal yard, cleaning/sweeping out trailers, and performing 2-hour temperature checks of live-loaded trailers/equipment. This role will also be responsible for sweeping trailers and assisting with other yard cleaning duties as required. Additional tasks include inputting information into computers, preparing reports, researching, reviewing, and recording trailer inventory. The position is primarily based on the dock and in the yard, and may require outdoor work in all weather conditions. The role also involves administrative duties such as paperwork, and any other tasks or duties as assigned. Collaboration with the Safety team may be required as per location needs. The ability to prioritize workload, be flexible, and maintain confidentiality is essential.
