About The Position
Housekeeping of Weave Room using various types of vacuums and general housekeeping equipment. Perform the following duties according to ISO 9001: 2000 work instructions and standards: Work scheduled overtime. Perform other duties as assigned Clean up after each maintenance activity using good housekeeping standards Clean weave room by assigned schedule Remove any trash from weave room Empty trash cans Insure proper storage of cleaning equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading, writing, and performing basic math skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well with others
- Hearing protection for high noise areas
- PPE as required by established policy and guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Work scheduled overtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Clean up after each maintenance activity using good housekeeping standards
- Clean weave room by assigned schedule
- Remove any trash from weave room
- Empty trash cans
- Insure proper storage of cleaning equipment
- Maintain 5S Standards
- Perform all duties in a safe manner following guidelines established by Valdese Weavers.
- Report all job related injuries and safety hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible.
- Actively participate in safety programs that identify, investigate, and correct safety hazards.
