About The Position

The Cleaning Associate is responsible for the overall appearance and cleanliness of the store. This role requires open availability, especially on nights and weekends. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys working in a fun environment, potentially with interests in video games, bowling, or karaoke.

Requirements

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of six months to one year in a bowling, entertainment, retail, or hospitality environment.
Experience in a cleaning environment, preferably in a bowling or game center establishment.
Customer service experience in a similar or comparable work environment.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Pleasant and positive attitude.
Previous experience in a retail/restaurant or customer service environment is required.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time without breaks during busy times.
Ability to use hands/fingers to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

Follows department procedures to standardize cleaning practices.
Adheres to cleaning department work schedules.
Delivers exceptional customer service through cleaning practices.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms.
Replenishes restroom dispensers.
Shampoos carpets when requested.
Cleans, dusts, and wipes store furniture, arcades, and equipment.
Sweeps, mops, and vacuums floors.
Empties and cleans wastebaskets and trash containers.
Uses and maintains assigned cleaning equipment and hand tools.
Washes walls and glass surfaces.
Uses ladders when required.
Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
Moves furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools.
Washes accessible interior and exterior windows.
Responsible for the laundering of cleaning rags and dust mops.
Keeps informed on company policies and procedures related to the Facility Department.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager and Regional Cleaning Specialist.
Conducts alcohol and age restriction control.
Conducts lost and found procedures.
Seeks constant improvement for department work processes.
Maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
