About The Position

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office is seeking a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds reflect an ability to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community and pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. The Bronx County District Attorney’s Office currently has openings for Cleaning Staff who will be responsible for cleaning in District Attorney Buildings.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions is required.
• Candidates must be able to understand and be understood in English.

Nice To Haves

• Must be able to lift up 35 Lbs.
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bathrooms
• Wiping down glass windows
• Mopping floors
• Sweeping and vacuuming floors when assigned
• Emptying garbage throughout cubicle areas and also hallways and various other areas
• Cleaning Kitchen/Conference Room areas
• Assist with other tasks in the Operations Unit as assigned
