JSA is currently hiring for a PT or FT Cleaning Specialist on our Support Staff team. Our support staff plays a vital role in the company's day-to-day operations. Position Description: The Cleaning Specialist is responsible for performing routine and non-routine cleaning, maintenance, and services in order to keep the facilities clean, operational, and well-maintained. Additionally, this role works in tandem with the Office Manager to identify and address any office needs beyond day-to-day cleaning, including preventative maintenance.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Must be clean and organized
Must possess basic computer and telephone skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to climb heights, climb onto ladders, and lift/carry up to 50lbs
Ability to interact with internal staff as well as with external vendors
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for personal belongings

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning of all areas of the building and parking lot as outlined in the cleaning schedule
Complete non-routine cleaning as outlined in the cleaning schedule or as directed
Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped and stocked with any supplies as needed
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cleaning and minor maintenance according to building and equipment needs
Continuous evaluation of building condition and communicate with supervisor about any work that requires outside expert assistance
Receive and respond to staff reports of issues or building needs
Order supplies for building needs
Coordinate with Office Manager and Office Assistant to setup and breakdown before and after any company functions
