About The Position

NORY is the premier STEM camp provider in NYC and Boston, enriching the learning journey of over 4,000 children annually through immersive, hands-on experiences. Our mission is to nurture young risk-takers, problem-solvers, and empathetic leaders. We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Professional Office Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you will maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming corporate workspace at our main headquarters.

Requirements

• 1+ years of paid commercial, office, or janitorial cleaning experience.
• Exceptionally high cleaning standards and a strong sense of pride in your work.
• Strong work ethic with a proven track record of consistent punctuality.
• Solid organizational or inventory management skills.
• Ability to provide your own baseline cleaning supplies (though secondary supplies are available on-site).
• Ability to speak English and a basic working comprehension of technology (smartphone apps, GPS, and email).
• Strict adherence to all standard health and safety regulations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Weekend and evening flexibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, maintain, and disinfect assigned office areas, including workspaces, communal areas, and restrooms.
• Perform standard janitorial duties: sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and deep cleaning as required.
• Manage waste disposal and empty all garbage and recycling bins regularly.
• Monitor cleaning inventory and organize supplies efficiently.
